Lilies

I quickly planted a stargazer lily in shallow dirt three years ago. I didn’t want to throw it out (I received it in a pot), but I never thought it would actually take root and grow annually. Again this year, this beauty rose up from a very neglected side of our garage that spends many months buried in snow. I love their strong fragrance.

Happy Daisies🌼

When picking up flowers to have on various tables at my twins graduation party, I decided to get a variety of a few different blooms. Their party was three weeks ago and I JUST had to retire these happy, pretty daisies this morning! They were the least expensive yet brought joy for much longer than any other flower!

Evolution of my Rhododendron

I know talking about the weather gets boring, and I also know that there are far worse issues in the world, but in my area of New York, Spring is still limping along. It’s a whopping 57 degrees today…?! Reaching for a pair of white pants still feels wrong even though it’s June. Our flowers JUST bloomed. Thought you might enjoy the evolution of this rhododendron….

Stargazer Lilies

I was wandering around for hours oblivious to the fact that my nose and chin were covered in an orange-yellow hue from sticking my face in these flowers! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fragrance of stargazer lilies. My daughter narrowed her eyes at me and asked, “when did you get all bruised on your face?” 🙂
